festivals and fundraisers. Michigan’s Food Law, P.A. 92 of 2000,
governs all food establishments licensing in Applications and information packets regarding
temporary food establishment licensing are available at the Health Department
offices in Bessemer, Hancock, Baraga, and Ontonagon. An application for a license needs to be
made at least five day’s prior to the planned event. For more information, contact the
