WELCOME TO THE 2010 MIDWEST RENDEZVOUS WEBSITE

 

My Dear Fellow Rendezvous Participants,

      Let me begin by introducing myself for those of you who do not know me.
My name is Father Thomas (Fern) and I have been a rendezvouser since 1983.  Like many, I started out rendezvousing being just a simple "Mountain Man", but my love for the Lord and a willingness to serve others took me in an "Ordained Direction", and I now serve the Rendezvous Community as the "Jesuit Missionary".  Please know I was not always a Catholic, but I did convert to be consistent with my chosen character.  
      It is my hope that you will find my staff and I have done an acceptable job organizing all the activities for this event, and that you will have an enjoyable time while here at the rendezvous. I encourage everyone to visit one of the many sandy beaches on Lake Superior, and if possible, especially at sun-down!  Also, know there are many other wondrous sites and places to visit while in the Ontonagon area; including the breathtaking Porcupine Mountains State Park which is only a short 20 minute drive from our rendezvous site.     
      But remember, this event is for your enjoyment and for you to have fun while you are here - so please make the most of it!  Know that we appreciate your attendance, and hope that you will have a great time here on the southern shores of that great lake, "Gitche Gumee"!

ALL PRE-REGISTRATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE RENDEZVOUS.

The business office will return all pre-registrations to the sender that are postmarked after the 30-day deadline. The senders will then have to register at the rendezvous gate
